Photography is inherited by Sahaj kakar from his father Gp Capt Mandhir Kakar who held his first Camera in 1972 and also had his own developing mechanism in 1973. From time to time he acquired the latest cameras available in the world market. Sahaj grew up seeing his father excelling in his photography skills and after completion of his higher education, when he desired to pursue photography as a profession his father whole heartedly supported and mentored him
